Hi Glynn,
Great, I'd be looking for M6 size. Say around 10 -15mm deep or whatever standards nearest. I'd be looking for 50 to start and test and then a first order of 300.
Thanks

Subject: RE: Hydac Enquiry
Hi Glynn
Thanks for the speedy reply.
The idea of the cooler circulating it's own oil from the tank is great, this takes away any danger of damage to the cooler if a problem occurs on the return pressure.
Our oil tanks are 200L and the timber crane uses max oil flow of 130 LPM at max pressure of 250 bar. Can you supply a 24V cooler that can circulate its own oil and would I be correct to say I need a 4 KW cooler.
Best Regards

Subject: RE: Replacement Pump
Gary,
Just a quick update note to thank you and Paul for assistance when it was needed. The 'Nitrile' pump did arrive as planned. It was duly fitted since all connections were straight swap job as predicted. On initial running of the new unit, there was still noise evident which was a surprise but in some way not unexpected. The pump did appear to self prime as Paul indicated should be the case. Whilst investigating the running of the new unit I was feeling around the unit trying to pin-point the source of noise. During this survey I applied hand forces to the unit pipework. Whilst lightly pushing the suction pipe towards the pump the noise level varied and appeared to get louder. I then lightly pulled on the same pipe away from the running pump and the noise appeared to reduce in volume almost to the point where it there was no unusual noise at all. This instigated checks, whilst shut down, around the suction pipe location trying to determine why such small applied forces should have the affect. The unit was run without the suction 'strainer' in place and there were reduced noise levels evident although quiet could not be used to describe the result. During the removal of the suction pipe it was established that what appeared to be a 'normal' dowty sealing washer was in fact the route cause of the noise. A new dowty was then inserted and the suction line securely tightened for the follow-on testing.
During subsequent testing, noise levels were mainly 'normal' with the occasional apparent rattle ( for want of a better word! ). Testing was resumed with the developed pressure apparently stable and acceptable. During the current testing, which is an on-going necessity, the pump start-up is quiet. The occasional 'rattle' ( and it is very intermittent ) is only evident when the pressure is established at the required 70 barg.
Once again, thanks to you and Paul for your prompt and useful advice.

Lubrication System
Good
morning Lee,
Just
a quick e-mail to thank you very much for
all of the work and effort yourself and
your colleagues have done for us over the
past few months.
I
didn't get chance to thank Bernie yesterday
so if you could pass my many thanks on to
him as his work on site is excellent, its
exactly what we wanted and the quality is
far better than anything we could have managed.
This
order for us is a key one for future business,
so our main priorities for this contract
were to supply a quality drive package and
within the time scale requested by our customer.
With your on time delivery, flexibility
to come to site when we needed, quality,
and quick response with the second quotation/installation
this has helped us keep on target for this
date.
Fingers
crossed this will lead to future orders
from which we can both benefit.
Many
thanks again for all of your help.
Best
regards
Projects
team leader.
