HYDRAULIC
SYSTEMS
Hydraulic systems
comprise of three major components; namely, actuators, power unit
and control systems, and piping installations. HYQUIP has an unrivalled
reputation for technical expertise in all areas and freely gives
its customers technical support in parts selection, system design
and installation.
•
Actuators
(Cylinders, Motors & Rotary Actuators)
Whatever
your requirements; workholding or specialist clamping elements,
welded construction, tie rod, mill, telescopic, displacement or
bespoke cylinders, hydraulic motors or rotary actuators HYQUIP will
provide independent advice and make recommendations.
•
Power
Units & Control Systems
Once
the actuators are established, HYQUIP can assist you to develop
the best power unit and control system solution to match performance
expectations. Standard and bespoke hydraulic power units can range
from fractional kilowatt units with fixed displacement pumps and
spool valves to complex 110kW multi-station ringmain systems with
high technology pump controllers and proportional/servo technology.
•
Piping
Installations
HYQUIP
has experience undertaking all types of installations; welded pipework,
compression fittings and other piping systems in steel, stainless
steel, copper and tungum tubing. Whether a hazardous environment
or special fluids (including water), or systems requiring complete
electrical or pneumatic control systems, HYQUIP has the expertise. |

PROJECT
MANAGEMENT & DETAIL DESIGN
HYQUIP operates
a dedicated project office to ensure that every contract is successfully
managed. Performance is measured monthly and the Engineering Manager
is a dedicated member of the Management Review Team for ISO 9001.
From receipt of order through to contract fulfilment you will be
assured of a personal service from a member of our experienced project
engineering team.
HYQUIP
Project Engineers lead from the front, they carryout system detailing
using the latest CAD software, they oversee workshop build and testing,
they attend client meetings post contract and they are responsible
for overseeing site commissioning ensuring total backup for HYQUIP
hydraulic technicians.
Project
Engineers have total responsibility for ensuring all documentation
is completed. Documentation is issued with the delivery of the Hydraulic
Power Unit, actuators and associated hardware. Thereafter an ‘as
build’ or ‘as commissioned’ set of drawings will
be issued should additional information be required on the drawings.
All
design elements assume compliance with EN982 and ISO9001 and documentation
includes a combined Certificate of Conformity / Declaration of Incorporation,
a full set of schematic drawings, and a Hyquip Start Up, Maintenance
and Fault Finding Manual as standard. |

POWER
UNIT MANUFACTURE, TEST AND INSPECTION
Working to ISO
9001 HYQUIP’s team of dedicated hydraulic technicians pride
themselves on being the elite of the industry. All engineers are
time served with additional fluid power training.
Systems and power units are 100% functional tested, using the latest
equipment. At HYQUIP we aim to simulate your specific requirements
before the equipment leaves our workshop. Function, layout, cleanliness
and aesthetics are all guaranteed.
WARNING
– Functional testing is no replacement for site specific commissioning.
Only hydraulic competent engineers should integrate hydraulic systems. |

SITE
INSTALLATION, FLUSHING AND COMMISSIONING
Knowledge of
pipework and circuit design, allowing for correct sizing, stressing,
routing and bending is fundamental to a successful installation.
HYQUIP engineers are on hand to install, flush and commission hydraulic
systems in virtually any environment anywhere around the world whatever
the pipework construction and circuit complexity.
HYQUIP
guarantees the cleanliness of all installation work using either
wet flushing or a pneumatic pellet system (dry flushing). Installation,
flushing and site commissioning is undertaken by qualified hydraulic
technicians who are time served engineers with many years experience.
•
Installation
HYQUIP
has experience undertaking all types of installations; welded pipework,
compression fittings and other piping systems in steel, stainless
steel, copper and tungum tubing. Knowledge of pipework and circuit
design allowing for correct sizing, stressing, routing, mounting
and bending is fundamental to the successful installation of any
hydraulic system. HYQUIP engineers will provide a well-designed
solution that is technically correct and aesthetically suited to
meet your needs. Whatever type of installation HYQUIP welcomes all
enquiries.
WARNING
- A poor installation by inexperienced non-hydraulic system engineers
can lead to contamination problems and turbulent flow conditions
which will reduce cleanliness levels, increase pipe joint fatigue,
effect overall performance of your machine and dramatically reduce
the life of your system and its components.
•
Flushing
HYQUIP engineers ensure that the correct cleanliness and flushing
procedures are followed, thereby optimising the performance and
life of your equipment. HYQUIP guarantee the cleanliness of all
installation works using either wet flushing or a pneumatic pellet
system.
WARNING - Don't compromise your investment, an
inappropriate installation that has been inadequately flushed can
lead to costly and untimely problems - let HYQUIP assume sole responsibility
for the supply, installation, flushing and commissioning of all
your fluid power requirements.
•
Commissioning
Even a good installation by competent engineers with the correct
flushing procedures does not ensure a successful installation. Success
is determined post commissioning when the equipment is fully integrated
with your equipment. As such, HYQUIP engineers are fully prepared
with documentation, drawings, in-house technical support and test
equipment necessary to ensure your installation is completely simulated
and operated to your satisfaction.
HYQUIP engineers are experienced at working in partnership with
other contractors and specialist personnel to ensure successful
integration during the commissioning phases of any new installation. |
