Service, Repair, Installation & Commissioning Engineers (PERMANENT & CONTRACT)

If you have experience in the maintenance of electro-hydraulic systems, a strong hydraulic background and a proven track record in troubleshooting & fault finding, pipework installations and electro-hydraulic commissioning APPLY NOW.

Roles include planned maintenance, servicing, troubleshooting, faultfinding, repairs, pipework installations and commissioning works. As this includes extensive maintenance and breakdown work on site at customer's premises, ideal candidates will be apprentice trained, have a flexible approach to working, have excellent communication and customer service skills whilst being able to work under their own initiative and away from home.

We are also looking for highly skilled pipe fitters with hydraulic experience. Ideally you will have a minimum of 3 years post apprenticeship experience and have relevant experience working with Stainless and Carbon Steel. You must be comfortable working out pipe runs, preping installations for welding, pipe and plate welding, proficient on pipe bending across a range of diameters and wall thicknesses, low and high pressure pipework, general fabrication, installing, alterations, maintenance and repair of piping systems, pipe threading, fabrication and installation of pipe supports/ brackets and hangers, pipe flushing etc.

You must possess a valid driving licence and be prepared to work away from home.

Positions are permanent and contract. We are also interested in self-employed contractors who would like to join our 'approved contractor list'.

ENGINEERING PROJECTS DIVSION

Hydraulic System Project & Design Engineers

We are currently looking for experienced Hydraylic Design and Project Engineers. You will have drawing office experience and a minimum HNC/D level qualification. Hydraulic system and component knowledge is required whilst experience in associated technical disciplines such as electrical control systems, jigs and fixtures, special purpose machinery or pneumatic systems would be beneficial.

• You will have a sound understanding of hydraulic circuitry and components.
• You will be an experienced AutoCad user as approximately 20% of your time will be spent preparing detailed schematic, fabrication, mechanical and general arrangement drawings.
• You will be IT literate and be confident preparing associated documentation (quality plans, method statements, risk assessments and manuals), reports and communications in Word, Excel, Outlook and similar software packages.
• You must be confident making decisions, managing projects, people and budgets, and have considerable problem solving ability and commercial acumen.
• You will be expected to display a positive and motivational leadership style in order to promote and develop a "can do" culture that is customer and stakeholder focused.

SALES

Hyquip is currently looking to expand its Sales Team and it has several internal and external positions that it is looking to fill.

1) Internal Sales / Administrator
Previous experience in an engineering / distribution sales office environment would be a distinct advantage. An excellent telephone manner, written communication and IT skills are essential as is the ability to manage multiple tasks and relationships.

2) Internal Technical Sales
A background in technical sales and a sound understanding of hydraulic circuitry and components would be a distinct advantage. An excellent telephone manner, written communication and IT skills are essential as is the ability to manage multiple tasks and relationships.

3) Application Sales / Account Managers
These positions requires an individual with relevant direct sales and business development experience. A sound understanding of hydraulic circuitry and associated components is essential. A knowledge and understanding of jigs and fixtures, workholding and production automation would be a distinct advantage.

4) Aftermarket / Component Field Sales
Northwest Region
This position requires an individual with relevant direct sales and business development experience. A sound understanding of hydraulic circuitry and associated components would be a distinct advantage.
